Job Description
My name is Keanan and I’m the managing host at York Butter Factory in Melbournes CBD. YBF is Melbournes premier co-working space for digital start-ups and early stage web 2.0 companies.
In addition to working at YBF I am also a full time tenant in the space so I work intensively on my own start-up, redhop.
My partner and I are searching for a technical co-founder. The hardest one to find!!
Now, everyone has start-up fever and everyone thinks their idea is the next big thing etc, etc and we are no different in that regard.
How we do differ from many others scrambling for developers attention is that we have positioned ourself in the single greatest place for a start-up to take off. We aren’t sitting around on the couch with a cool idea. Being at the York Butter Factory full time means that we along with the tech co-founder who eventually joins us are right at the nerve centre for innovation, swift pivoting and seed to VC funding. The space is literally full of some of Australias most talented entrepreneurs, finance professionals and web developers and whoever joins our team will benefit greatly from being in that environment.
Redhop has it’s domain, trademark, placeholder page, marketing strategy and beta testing structure in place already so all a slick developer would need to do is come in, sit down and go straight to work with us on putting our site and app together. Once a prototype is running and our team is in place, all our funding avenues are open and waiting for us to put something in front of them to asses.
So you see, we are miles ahead of a huge percentage of entrepreneurs who think they have a “cool idea for a website”. We are already very much underway and we’re desperate to continue our growth with the addition of a talented coder.
We are happy to split equity, pay up to 400 bucks a week for someone just for a couple of days or both!
