An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solutions Architect with a passion and drive to make their mark and lead the design and development of our software platform. Working with and reporting directly to top management, you will thrive on the challenge of defining and managing the overall architecture, development processes and deliverables against agreed schedules, scope, quality and timelines.

The role:

You will be required to work closely with the founders in your daily duties and provide accountability, reporting and support when and where required. You have the ability to design Azure based services and front-end portals both from functional and non-functional aspects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse business requirements and creation of high level & detailed design documents for development
  • Defining and documenting Cloud based services, integration services, interfaces & API contracts
  • Defining and documenting the storage and security architecture
  • Liaising with business analyst, UX specialist and data scientist and providing feasibility analysis reports for the required solution
  • Guide, mentor and provide fast pace prototyping code examples of the required architecture for the development team

You:

You are a self starter, who is highly motivated and thrives under pressure. You will ideally hold formal qualifications in computer science or have equivalent experience. You will also have experience as a solution or product architect with wide software technologies exposure.

Ideally, you’ll possess the following skills:

  • Detailed understanding of Azure cloud architecture
  • Experience working with Windows workflow foundation
  • Experience working with Azure Service fabric
  • Detailed knowledge of .NET Core and .NET development
  • Detailed understanding of online security architecture
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs and authentication protocols
