Full-Time Sales & Customer Service Champion

Job Description

Pet Circle is looking for an outstanding individual to join our sales and customer service team on a full-time basis. This person must have proven customer oriented focus.

The full time person will be required to work a 5 day rotating roster starting as early as 8:00 am and working through to 8:00 pm. Please note that the rotating roster could eventually involve working weekends from 9:00 am til 5:00 pm for example.

Please Note: This role may require you to work from both Alexandria and Rosehill. (2-3 days per week in each location) – (TBA)

While in Rosehill (at our courier partners office), you will be supporting the customer service team with delivery investigations.

The new team member will handle inbound queries & place outbound calls (warm calling) to customers in order to build customer loyalty and drive repeat business. The team member will let no sales opportunity pass them by,  make product recommendations, enter orders, resolve customer’s concerns and drive the outbound sales and service initiative.

The role offered will have an outbound focus — you’re going to contact existing customers & support them with any queries, might they be around a product they are planning to buy, their delivery or let them know about an exciting promotion or new products.

Some of the key day-to-day activities:

– Pro-actively contact customers in order to build lasting relationships, helping them with product queries, identifying opportunities for repeat business, and resolving any issues before they arise.
– Helping reduce CHURN through pro-active CRM and reactive day-to-day customer queries.
– Drive sales and value when interacting with existing customers.
– Engage with our customers over email, website chat and phone in a friendly and supportive way (approx. 50 inbound and 50 outbound calls plus 50-100 emails per working day).
– Work with the warehouse team to create a seamless experience for Pet Circle’s customers.
– Help develop and document our outbound customer related processes and recommend system improvements.

Skills Required:

– A genuine desire to want to help others.
– Proven ability in providing a positive customer service experience (we aim for a minimum 95% customer satisfaction rating).
– Effective Objection handling skills.
– A fun loving personality with a passion for animals.

– A love of constant change and the fast-paced atmosphere of working in a rapidly growing business.
– A can do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
– Ability to take responsibility and make decisions.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Attention to detail.
– A veterinary background VET, nurse or Pet retail would be ideal but not required.
