Operations Manager, Intersective Learning – Sydney

·        Flexible work from home, full-time OR 3-4 days / week pro-rata

·             $60K / annum base + 7% super + bonus ($5 – 15K based on experience)



Intersective Learning is an exciting start up business in its second year of operation, which manages learning programs which link Corporates and Universities to deliver inspiring Postgraduate student experiences. Due to business growth, we have an opportunity for a motivated, hard working and flexible individual attracted to a start up environment to join the team as Operations Manager. This is initially a work from home role (with regular meetings in CBD / Eastern Suburbs), which might suit someone with entrepreneurial interests or current carer commitments.


The Operations Manager will support all aspects of the Intersective Learning business, primarily liaising with students and stakeholders to manage delivery of learning programs. The Operations Manager will also work closely with the founders across a range of aspects to grow the business, including marketing & BD, web management, event management and content development. The Founders are two senior professionals with a portfolio of responsibilities outside Intersective Learning.  We are committed to recruiting and developing talented people, mentoring and growing them with the business.


Performance Outcomes;

·         Manage learning program delivery to exceed stakeholder expectations

·         Continuously improve learning programs and supporting processes & systems

·         Support overall management and development of the business


Selection Criteria


1.     Demonstrated professional experience in one or more of the following areas;

·         Tertiary sector student administration / learning program management

·         Innovation & entrepreneurial management

·         Corporate HR / Recruitment

·         Marketing & Business Development

·         Professional Services


2.     Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver project and program outcomes

3.      Demonstrated ability to identify and implement new ideas and initiatives to add value

4.     Strong IT application capabilities, including MS suite, website and database management. Learning management systems and PHP will be advantageous.

5.     Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Business Discipline will be highly regarded
