One of Australia’s Top 20 Online retailers based in Sydney, Alexandria, is seeking a Product Manager with 3+ years of experience to manage the product development of one of Australia’s most successful pure-play eCommerce sites – Primary goals will be to boost the per-channel website conversion rates and to provide engaging website experiences for users and customers.

You are happy talking about & working with ways to improve CRO, AOV, IPT across the website
A passionate user & observer of eCommerce & UX trends in Australia & the wider world. You can discuss why Amazon’s checkout works the way it does, and the pros and cons of PayPal vs credit card checkouts.

Key day-to-day activities include:

Manage the process of product development > from idea-generation through implementation, and then validation & iteration. This will involve:
· Idea collection & generation
· UX & functional design, creating mock-ups, determining MVPs
· Project coordination & management, user testing
· Launch management & post-launch analysis of results
· Using your strong analytic skills, decide post-launch whether the project needs a further iteration, to be pulled out of the code base as a failure, or cemented in as a success.

Ongoing CRO focus:
· Analyse micro-conversion, conversion paths, and engagement
· Independently design & execute A/B testing
· Find opportunities for improving IPT, AOV, and engagement.

Work towards longer-term goals:
· Understand & help develop the long-term website strategy
· Keep engineers, growth managers, and everyone in the organisation aligned with this strategy
· Attend engineering & marketing meetings to represent product.

Skills and Requirements

· Demonstrated analytical skills – Bringing in data from Google analytics to Excel and matching it against another data set to determine significance is something you are very comfortable with
· An enthusiasm for eCommerce & UX – You see this job as a way to work with something you are passionate about
· Technical capabilities – You don’t need to code but when presented with HTML you can keep up. When writing functional specs you can write them in a way that engineers can make use of
· Basic project management skills
· An ability to engage with people in order to deliver successful projects when you don’t have them reporting directly to you
· A relevant degree such as: science or maths, engineering, or commerce.
