Full-Time Office Experience Manager (Contract)

Job Description

BigCommerce, named one of “Australia’s Coolest Companies”  in 2017 by Anthill Magazine,is looking for a dynamic and energetic Office Experience Manager who thrives in a fast-moving environment with a strong understanding of how office operations can impact all employees and visitors.  In this full-time contract role, you will work across all levels in the company as a problem solver who brings practical solutions to common inquiries and requests regarding the facility.  This position reports to the Director, Global Real Estate & Facilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage floor plan systems
  • Meet and greet all visitors at reception and manage all couriers/deliveries to office
  • Manage all catering, lunch and snack orders
  • Coordinate and supervise building and office maintenance, including managing vendor relationships
  • Manage office supplies, track spending and manage budgets
  • Keep the kitchen, office and meeting rooms tidy
  • Ensure empty desks are set up for visitors and properly marked
  • Manage on-boarding & off-boarding employees in collaboration with HR & IT representatives
  • Manage office WH&S program
  • Help drive a fantastic Sydney culture  by planning and coordinating company and office culture events (events may occur after normal business hours and/or on weekends which may require your presence before, during and after the event)
  • Manage onsite events for employees and outside guests.
  • Manage stock and storage closets
  • Organise long term accommodation for US staff visiting Sydney
  • Complete adhoc projects as needed
  • Assist Executives visiting from the US offices as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree and / or 3+ years relevant office support role
  • Strong computer skills, including GMail, Google Docs, Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstratively positive attitude and solution oriented
  • Proactive with excellent time management skills
  • Passionate about customer service with a focus on supporting business objectives
  • Flexible, calm, and pleasant when addressing the unexpected
  • Someone who is highly organised and is able to get things accomplished in a collaborative manner
