Are you a bright Technical Support Engineer (level 2 help desk) looking to advance your skills and boundaries? Then this might be the role for you.

Undisputed leader in the Field Service Software Industry is seeking a Junior IT Business Consultant with around 12-month+ experience based in their Sydney Head Office. An excellent opportunity for a junior technical Gun to work with a strong team of mentors with a medium-term view to becoming a technical business consultant themselves.

Who are you?

You are reliable and punctual. You are analytical and able to understand the bigger picture to eliminate the cause of the problems and assist with new project deployment. You have exceptional customer service skills that your clients talk about when they are speaking with others. You will be responsible for:

– Working with the Business Consulting team to manage on-going projects and client relationships.
– Customising report templates and plug in scripts (training provided).
– Documenting customer processes, under the direction of a Business Consultant.
– Reproducing / Documenting technical issues for escalation to the Development Team.
– Handling inbound and escalated support calls.

Skills and requirements

– BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
– 6-12 months of experience in enterprise technical support.
– Ability to quickly learn the software package in use.
– Understanding of databases, SQL and/or a programming language is advantageous.
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Excellent client-facing skills
