The company is incorporated and headquartered in the San Francisco with R&D done in Sydney.
We have built a minimum viable product and we are raising funding from top tier VC firms in Silicon Valley to build up a team and scale out the business in all areas.
We are looking for an Architect/Development team lead to join us and build an engineering team.
The Challenge:
- help us go faster in all areas. Our application performance and our speed of development are some of the areas where you can bring value.
- help us design and migrate our architecture to a new configuration that will support the quality, scale and performance that our roadmap requires.
- help us make our robots smarter. Our robots use various strategies and learning algorithms to deliver valuable results for our users. we can improve them using better analytics, machine learning and big-data frameworks.
- help us integrate. Our users want to interact with our robots on their phones and connect them to other cloud based services.
The Opportunity:
- take over and run most aspects of engineering. This is everything from Agile iteration delivery to the operation of our live application.

The Requirements:
- You have a minimum of two years experience in leading a team of developers and you are good at keeping them productive and happy – You attract talent because of this ability.
- You have a verifiable track record of delivering on your commitments. You have led teams to build products that have scaled well, are secure and reliable. Project management is something you do well.
- Architecture: our current stack is Google Appengine, Amazon EC2 and Salesforce.com. You should understand the strengths and weaknesses of these platforms and the alternatives because you have delivered projects on some of them.
- Development: our product is built in Java and Clojure with a GWT frontend. You should have experience with imperative and functional languages and be comfortable with coding using these technologies on Day 1.
- Web Services: our product crawls various web services to find valuable information for our users. You should have experience with integration to external services and best practices when using all of the common RPC transports and authentication models.
